Tigers move two young exciting offensive players for two youngish pitchers. Gallen is on an expiring PC deal so we will extend him. This is about adding to our pitching staff. It has been injury filled and I am trying to get two really good arms in it. I can afford to move Contreras as I have Adley and Bart. Miranda hurts. He hasn't stopped hitting since the pandemic year. Will have to fill a void at 3B but solidifying the pitching staff was more important. 

Extend Gallen: #19 currently puts his extension at $10.2M x 75% for prospect extension. Please extend for 3 years at $7.7M

We are trying to build a good offensive foundation with young controllable bats. These 2 will fit our timeline nicely. Hate to use big assets but feel they are worth it. Thanks DET for the easy talks.
