I do understand the rule now and it does make complete sense! Paid cap is always tied to contracts.

I just don’t see a way where two trades that have recently gone through based on this lie can still go through, especially if both parties were ignorant about the rule.

This league and it's predecessor have operated this way since their inceptions, as has every other league on this site. I agree that it needs to be stated more clearly, and part of that is how rarely it does come up. If your trades were impacted by this, then feel free to have both parties post a reversal and we will this time only. Once both parties have confirmed reversal I will process them as reversals.

Thanks for that clarification! Houston and Arizona will just restructure the trade without Bell involved. The other one is too far back to reverse because draft picks were involved. I’ll just take the small L on that one. Glad that I know the rule now, thanks guys. It does make sense.
