Red Sox receive:

P Carson Whisenhunt pc-na, from the Mets
SS Tai Peete pc-na, from the Mets
OF Jonny Farmelo pc-na, from the Blue Jays

Mets  receive:

SS Tommy Troy pc-na, from the Red Sox
3B Jake Gelof pc-na, from the Red Sox

Blue Jays receive:

P Joe Whitman pc-na, from the Red Sox
OF Jack Hurley pc-na, from the Mets


All 3 of us kind of learned from our separate conversations with each other that the other team had drafted a player we were hoping to get with our next pick and all that stuff.

In the end:  Red Sox turned Troy into a top 100 prospect in Whisenhunt and bring 2 Mariners home to me in Peete & Farmelo;  Mets ultimately traded assets to get a higher selection than they had in Troy;  and the Jays parlayed Farmelo into 2 players Whitman & Hurley they are extremely high on.
