We explored all options for Mitchell and this makes the most sense for us. We know how good he is, but we simply don't have the cap to keep our quartet together. We had offers for paid older stars opening up some 2023 cap, but they were 1 year players or too expensive in the future for sustained success. We think both Miller and Amen T. are bound for stardom on rookie deals. We're happy to keep a core of KAT, KD, Gobert, I. Stewart, and Miller/Thompson + the ability to sign FAs for the upcoming year and future. Thanks to the Kings, best of luck.
