Make the move to add a 1b guy as we lack that after numerous deals. Love Pomares upside, Barrero still has nice future and Cho is very intriguing as well but trying to solidify team this season now. Take Crowe back to give Cubs some salary relief as well.

Confirm...

Logjam at 1B was an issue all season.

Pomares is young with huge upside. Big K's but big ceiling.
Barrero is MLB ready. A bit tarnished, but Prospects 1500 had him ranked #2 in Cinncinati system pre season.
Cho is a lotto ticket.

With Vaughn in place and Burleson/Manzardo in the pipeline, we felt it was worth a roll of the dice to get Pomares.
