I just had Jace Peterson go on the IL until Sept, so needed this hole plugged.  TB mentioned that he was probably going to drop Lamb, so I told him that I'd take him in this deal.

I confirm. Like previous trades I need to reduce roster space and Lamb was a drop candidate. The 2nd round pick helps with my rebuild.
