Rockies make the move betting on the recent turnaround for a still young player. Like his combo of speed and power. Hope it isn't a mirage. Ok to move the 1st rounder as I am trying to compete this year. Gonzalez and Mesa are solid prospects but I have enough depth to feel comfortable moving them.�

Have Taveras in a couple of leagues. Have been watching him since came thru our town in the minors. So fluid on defense and more upside if he can keep hitting.

Tampa has purposely aimed at young CF's.

With Trammell and Cespedes in the pipeline (and projects de la Cruz and Robles on the roster ) TBR feels Taveras is expendable.

Picks are always welcome, and Mesa is an interesting prospect with a family pedigree. Romy will give us a cheap bat if he can stick to a MLB club.
