JP Sears (another S Carolina product from Citadel) is an enigma mixed in a riddle. Not much hype, projection, or status in NYY system but he gets the job done. Got him cheap during FA in BTL hoping for a taxi squad SP/RP situation. Got him in Nat Pastimes a week later and other owners bid him up 10X after he made the opening day roster.

Using that as a benchmark set a 2nd round price for him. Happy to trade him and the 4th (LAD) to upgrade into the 2nd round.

Diversify the NP and BTL rosters a bit
