I'm still looking to improve for this year and Iglesias ranks #1 for SS in the Rockies depth chart.� He is off to a good start:� 62 AB and .306 avg, and he qualifies at 2B and SS.� My team has desperately needed depth and this trade will allow me to keep Adam Frazier in the OF unless injuries become substantial.� Since I'm looking to improve this year and struggling with cap space, I don't mind trading a #2 pick for a 2.0m starting SS.

Tampa confirms...

Iggy is doing a nice job in Colorado but we are rebuilding.

Tampa looking for cap space to possibly eat the entirety of the Justin Upton salary in 2022.

2nd round pick is what I paid and will be welcome going into next season.
