Pretty sure GIG and baseball leagues will be following suit shortly.
avatar
So all active leagues here will be at new site?
avatar
https://dynastysportshub.proboards.com We're moving leagues to a new site folks. Several users report not being able to access this site anymore. New board will have 3 admins instead of one absent admin so we should be able to keep things better updated.

1.3 pick in gig is on the block if anyone is interested
avatar
gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
avatar
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.
avatar
gig untimed start now?

Way to go QFL. Another great draft in the books
Padres and Royals deal
#1
Padres get:
1B Rhys Hoskins, $6.6m 2023
SS Willy Adames, p-2021
OF Mike Tauchmann, p-2022
P Sean Newcomb, p-2020

Royals get:
SP Chris Sale, 29.0, 25.4, 27.2, 27.2 (SD pays 14.5in 2020 and 12.7m in 2021)
SP Jose Berrios, 5, 5, 7, 9
2B Luis Urias, p-2022

Its risky losing the SP but this deal clears future cap for SD while still bringing in young players I like a lot that will keep the team competitive.

Kansas City confirms.

This feels like a great deal for both sides. I will miss the youth and potential that I am giving up. All of those players can be potential starters with high ceilings. Getting another young Ace in Berrios was the primary goal, and receiving a young hitter in Urias that I have liked for a while to replace Adames fits in with my profile for a hitter.

Sale is the wildcard here. I get a significant cut in his salary, which makes him more attractive to wait for health. He is a dominant pitcher who hopefully comes back next year strong. Thanks for the easy talks Kyle and good luck!
