Greetings all. I've taken over as the new GM of the Nationals, and welcome the chance to continue this rebuild that my predecessor has begun. Looking forward to chatting trades with you all, although bear with me as I come to terms with the precise wrinkles and peculiarities of the league setup.
Naturally given where we are the Nats are looking to the future, which means mostly prospects and draft picks, but will consider some young upside MLBers too. With the biggest cap space in the league we'd happily consider taking on some salary dumps from those of you who are looking to clear space for FA bidding, so long as they are accompanied by prospects and/or picks that can improve us. Nobody is off the table in discussions - it'd take a Godfather offer to move Corbin Burnes at $4m for 5 years, for instance, and I'm not looking to ship Julio Rodriguez in particular - but there's always a combination of players that can balance out any trade if you're willing to deal and are offering up quality in return. If you're interested in acquiring any one of my guys, then drop me a message on here and we'll see if we can come to an agreement.

Having time to a deep dive on my roster... initial prognosis is to hold tight.
MLB roster... I have one deal pending for a SP and no other plans to break up the core bats. Just going to roll with what I got with some occasional tweaking. MiLB roster... Going to overhaul the minor league roster which will take a few years. It would take alot to move Tyler Freeman and Winder. If anyone else interests you, make me an offer. Just want picks.

As much as we are experiencing major FOMO right now with all these trades, we don't have a ton to offer in Philly right now. That said, Jordan Lyles is hella cheap SP depth, and Flexen could be had with the right offer, though I think he'll pitch well again, so I'm inclined to try to move him for more at the deadline to a contender, so it would need to be a strong offer to get me to move him now. Lesser RP arms like Dillon Tate or Miguel Diaz could be had fairly cheaply too. Might be open to moving Tellez, but not in a rush to. Other lesser players can also be had cheap, like Jace Peterson and Jake Marisnick, Sexy I know.
