the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.

Washington has dropped out. Unless someone comes along looking for a rebuild the plan is going to be to have the League Office run them this season and the pot is going to be reduced by $50.
