Diamondbacks trade:

C William Contreras PC N/a


Fun deal, I have wanted Contreras for a while and was happy to finally snag him. Shaw has been hitting better this year and last after a dreadful 2019, and Lange has finally shown the form that made him a 1st round pick. But we wanted depth at C behind Willians with Kirk being hurt and hopefully William can become a little more like his brother.

Arizona confirms this trade as I believe strongly in winning today and will do what it takes to be a winner now. Travis Shaw has rebounded in 2021 and promoting J Kelenic will make it possible.
