avatar
Pretty sure GIG and baseball leagues will be following suit shortly.
avatar
So all active leagues here will be at new site?
avatar
https://dynastysportshub.proboards.com We're moving leagues to a new site folks. Several users report not being able to access this site anymore. New board will have 3 admins instead of one absent admin so we should be able to keep things better updated.

1.3 pick in gig is on the block if anyone is interested
avatar
gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
avatar
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.
avatar
gig untimed start now?

If it's done in a way to get 16 or 17 game seasons to match the NFL, then sure. Otherwise, no.

Like the randomness that mimicks the NFL. In TMW, I had the 4th or 5th most points in the entire league for a good chunk of the season but was constantly on the outside looking in on the playoffs. In QFL, I rode an extremely easy schedule to the playoffs and was able to pull out the championship. Both happen and you just never know. But I like the it mimics real life.

As Billy mentioned, I could be on board for something that gets us to 17 games, but that's as far as I would want to take it.

im normally for change and welcome it. This i have to say no to though.

to coincide with the other rule up for vote.. as long as there is a way if the removal of conferences keeps matchups changing each year and theres a decent way to track that so there isnt same matchups year after year.

maybe a fun way to make the matchups is real life schedule to the best of the ability. obviously we have a few teams with no owners in here it would only come up a few times here or there.. and real teams on byes would get matched up together in here..

just a thought. mostly like billy said.. if it can mimic/ match the nfl in games played.

I prefer the fantasy aspect 1 game a week provides

Against - I like a schedule that is a closer mimic to the true NFL schedule at 1 game/week

yeah that would be an easy thing to set up too. though if we get rid of conferences I'm not sure it makes sense as some teams would play their "division" twice

I would approve, but I would suggest modifying that to non bye week only opportunities. Or choose a couple weeks early, and a couple late.
