2024 GIG New Owner Draft Rules

First off, all new owners must be paid prior to the draft, no exceptions. 

With 9 new owners drafting, picks will be 1-9 in each round. Draft order will be determined by an internet randomizer. I will assign teams a number 1-9 alphabetically, then will randomize the number list 9 times. I will record a video of this for all to see. The 9th randomization will be the new owner draft order. 

The draft will snake, but to offset the top heavy nature, it will snake as follows:
Round 1: 1-9
Round 2: 9-1
Round 3: 9-1
Round 4: 1-9
Normal snake from there. 

Draft will be 28 rounds (minimum roster threshold is 32 so this gives you a little cap and flexibility for free agency and rookie draft but set the core of the roster). Picks can not be traded, skipped, or deferred. All teams must draft 28 players or rookie draft picks.

Players are sorted by position. The contract figures after them are the salaries you will be adopting them for. Any salaries in BOLD IITALICS are option years that you can declare if you want them or not at the time of drafting said player. 

Draft will take place in a forum thread on here. Draft picks will be posted in that thread, and I will add them to the team fantrax and spreadsheet as we go. I will also strikethrough them on the doc so it's clear who is still available.
