Swap of picks and prospects.

Tampa had been chasing a prospect catcher all year without luck.�Campusano is ranked top 10 at the position and felt we needed to move when he was offered. MLB ready and should contribute in 2023

We look at this deal from the original offers.... Camp for 1.19 and 2.08

LAD had been holding tight for months, and this deal will give Tampa depth at a premium position and also give us a Top 10 pick.�

Our roster is constructed with several vets�entering into the last year of his contract, it gives us flexibility to trade or extend Realmuto�with cheaper Jansen and Campusano on the roster.

De La Cruz wasn't on the radar and we got him pre season for a 2nd round pick. His K rate hovers at 30% while�his BAPip and ISO numbers are amazing.�

Pick�1.09 for Elly seemed about right.

Coupled with�Campusano felt about right and we had an urge to spread the risk.

The way our roster is constructed there is not alot of room for excess picks so they worked to sweeten�the deal.
