The Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Dodgers have reached a trade agreement.

1B Jose Abreu (10.4M in 2022)
C Francisco Meija (pc-22)
SP Jack Flaherty (10.2M through 2024)
2B Cesar Hernandez (1.9M in 2022)

Well, it's been a bit since we did a true blockbuster so why not. We trade a huge haul of spects and and a young catcher we like in Stephenson to an instant C platoon mate in Meija, the return of Abreu and Hernandez to our lineup (which gives us another masher and fills our biggest hole at 2B), and another strong front-end rotation arm in Flaherty. With this and a little more work to do in FA and other deals, we hope to be in the running for the title this year. Thanks to Alex for the fun talks as always and :LAD to confirm.
