gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.

EASTERN CONFERENCE
#8 Milwaukee at #1 Brooklyn, 6.5-2.5 (A foregone conclusion but at least the Bucks kept it respectable) #7 Atlanta at #2 Detroit, 6-3 (Pistons ran away with all the counting stats despite not having Brandon Ingram all week) #6 Cleveland at #3 Chicago, 7-2 (An expected cakewalk as Cavs best players have been injured for a while now) #5 New York at #4 Indiana, 5-4 (Very close battle but Knicks able to survive with 5 fewer games played) WESTERN CONFERENCE #8 San Antonio at #1 Minnesota, 7-2 (Spurs ran into the proverbial buzzsaw here. They never had a chance) #7 Memphis at #2 Denver, 5-4 (Huge upset as Lowry and Haliburton allowed MEM to steal the assists category for the W) #6 Houston at #3 Utah, 7-2 (Expected a much closer battle but Tatum, Fox, Booker all went off for Rockets) #5 LA Lakers at #4 Portland, 5-4 (This was a battle but JJJ's 9 blocks got the Blazers past LBJ and the Lake Show) 2ND ROUND #1 Brooklyn vs #5 New York, 8-1 (This was sheer domination. Nets just too deep) #2 Detroit vs #3 Chicago, 6-3 (Bulls kept it close but the Pistons were more efficient winning TO's and the shooting %'s) #1 Minnesota vs #4 Portland, 7-2 (Luka & SGA were too much for the Blazers to match) #6 Houston vs #7 Memphis, 7-2 (Rockets were better but also had 9 more GP. Tough for MEM to make that up) CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIPS #2 Detroit at #1 Brooklyn, 6-3 (Big weeks from McCollum, Jonas V and Butler helped BRK stave off a valiant Pistons team) #6 Houston at #1 Minnesota, 6-3 (A huge showing on Sunday allowed the Rockets to grab a come from behind victory over a tough TWolves team) Finals #6 Houston at #1 Brooklyn, 7-2 (Losing games from Fox, Tatum and Booker hurt but it probably wouldn't have made a difference against the Nets juggernaut) |
