Pretty sure GIG and baseball leagues will be following suit shortly.

So all active leagues here will be at new site?
avatar
https://dynastysportshub.proboards.com We're moving leagues to a new site folks. Several users report not being able to access this site anymore. New board will have 3 admins instead of one absent admin so we should be able to keep things better updated.

1.3 pick in gig is on the block if anyone is interested
avatar
gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
avatar
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.

gig untimed start now?

Way to go QFL. Another great draft in the books
2020 Site Goals
#1
Long term survival of the original 9 leagues

This is the only goal that matters. This is my only hobby and this site is a lot cheaper than taking up golf.

Two key factors in reaching this goal

1. Creating an environment that is user friendly for the commissioners and rewarding them for the 100's of hours they put in to keep them running while encouraging league members to step up once it is time for a commissioner to step down.

2. Drive fantasy degenerates  to the site by recruiting sports experts, bloggers, youtubers, etc to the site to post content in order to make recruiting new blood as easy as possible.

To start off, the site will be run through a free server. Once we start to notice a lag, we will transition into an upgraded server. We will slowly introduce Google Adsense onto the platform to offset these cost. Revenue earned will be split 80/20 with 80% going to the commissioners and any other page view drivers. Each month, all moderators will receive a breakdown of what pages received what views and they will receive a portion of the ad revue based on the results. We encourage anyone who wants to start a fantasy blog or provide content to drive people to the site to contact us. The 20% the site keeps will go towards Facebook ads, Google PPC, and other marketing avenues during the first year.

Our brand of fantasy sports is a very niche market. So much so, that there isn't a single site, blog, expert, youtuber, podcaster, etc that fulfills our need for fantasy information. Our average research goes from our favorite dynasty rankings, to the chosen contract site, and finishing up at a local team blogger for that insiders opinion to confirm our thoughts that Drew Lock should be selected 100 plus picks before Carson Wentz. In the age of instant gratification with daily fantasy sports, we are playing 3 year into the future. Our members are the target market for those local team bloggers, minor league experts, and the UDFA ranking list makers. Our members want this information and in turn the fantasy degenerates looking for it can find a home in our leagues.
