gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.

Red Sox send:
C JT Realmuto 8.6m in '24 & '25 (each yr has 2m paid for by another team) Dodgers send: P Brandon Williamson pc-na 3B Max Wagner pc-na With Cal Raleigh on the roster and breaking out big time last year there isn't much of a need for JT and his contract especially when I need to extend Raleigh this year and his contract extension will command over 5m. I did not want to invest over 10m in cap space on catchers. The Red Sox are receiving a young arm in Williamson on a pc contract who flashed potential on a upcoming team who is slated to make the opening day rotation. Wagner was someone I rated highly in our draft and missed out on him. Orioles have proven to have a great developmental staff in their minors especially in the infield and like the fact the Orioles are making Wagner versatile as they having given him several starts at 2B along with his natural position at 3B. Thank you to the Dodgers once again for the easy talks. They are a great GM to negotiate with.

I desperately needed a top tier Catcher with my only everyday starter being Heim until Cartaya gets traded so he can play MLB ball. I have an excess of 3B and P prospects so it wasn’t too difficult to make this trade. Very easy negotiations and very easy talks. Thank you.

Once the trade is official (both Dodgers/Red Sox have fees paid)
Please extend Cal Raleigh. His value is at 7.1m so at a prospect extension his contract will be 5.3m thru 2025-2027

Everything rounds up so Cal is actually 5.4. Updated
