Pretty sure GIG and baseball leagues will be following suit shortly.
avatar
So all active leagues here will be at new site?
avatar
https://dynastysportshub.proboards.com We're moving leagues to a new site folks. Several users report not being able to access this site anymore. New board will have 3 admins instead of one absent admin so we should be able to keep things better updated.

1.3 pick in gig is on the block if anyone is interested
avatar
gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
avatar
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.
avatar
gig untimed start now?

Way to go QFL. Another great draft in the books
Trade: DEN-SAC
#1
DEN acquires:

Trey Murphy (2.9, 4.4, RFA)
Ousmane Dieng (3.7, 3.9, 5.0, RFA)
RD1-2024 (SAC)
RD2-2024 (SAC)

SAC acquires:

LeBron James (21.3) > Paid In-Full
Jarrett Allen (10.8 x3) > 4.7M Paid 2024 (Salary Neutral)

Kings are finally ready to make a push but needed a big man and another paid for vet to be closer to a serious playoff team. This accomplishes both.

Denver is ownerless and rudderless. There is no way they can extend LeBron. With the move being one to attract an owner by next season this boiled down to 4 assets for Jarrett Allen.

I know some big names are being traded here so I will leave this up for 24 hours for any objections.

I get it Laim.... but a paid LeBron? Feels like he may command more. I certainly can't compete with this offer, I don't have future assets. But maybe see if anyone else can beat it?

Basically been offering LeBron for a 1st since the draft. It’s a one year rental so not sure how much more a could hold out for.

Yeah, kinda feel like the RD1+RD2 combo is standard operating procedure for expiring vets, especially ones with games played thresholds around 55 or so. Everyone has different values on expirings and RD1's. So it's tough to get those valuations to lineup sometimes.

Im with ThePetis here, I cant compete with the offer but you are talking two legit starters. I will leave it up to you here as you are the guy who knows what it takes to get a new owner but seems light to me.

That's the catch-22. The teams that can beat the offer don't really have use for a 38 yr old LBJ rental.

Proof even the best of them get Paul Milsap’d (throwback reference).

FWIW I like the kings side better, but I seem to be in the minority where I prefer vets to upside and draft picks.

Looking at hashtag as an unbiased 3rd party, they have Trey Murphy (66th) and Jarrett Allen (54th) a lot closer than you might imagine. Factor in future salary and adding in the ancillary pieces (2nd/Dieng) feels more than fair.

League office has had LBJ for a first available for quite some time and no one was jumping at the offer, the the market is what the market is (or isn’t).

No issues with the trade and trust the LO feels this is what the best offer was or was going to be. Plus helps the Denver first next year to also help attract a new owner.

h/t to Murph for recognizing the good/solid value in Trey Murphy. Kid can really play.
