correct. ideally all leagues will be moving over
avatar
Pretty sure GIG and baseball leagues will be following suit shortly.
avatar
So all active leagues here will be at new site?
avatar
https://dynastysportshub.proboards.com We're moving leagues to a new site folks. Several users report not being able to access this site anymore. New board will have 3 admins instead of one absent admin so we should be able to keep things better updated.
avatar
1.3 pick in gig is on the block if anyone is interested
avatar
gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
avatar
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.
avatar
gig untimed start now?

Way to go QFL. Another great draft in the books

Yankees and braves reach a deal

Yankees send

Matt Vierling 2.5 3.3
Clark Schmidt p25

Braves send

Hunter Brown
Will Bednar

NYY to confirm.

Easy swap of young players here. Each team believes this helps their ballclub. Thanks NYY and good luck

I like vierling and schmidt, but i have extra OF, and brown is the better pitcher.

Thanks Braves for reaching out for a late night deal.

Veto.

I have no problem with people taking a stance but the value here is horrendous and Hunter Brown could command a way better return if advertised on the block, I'm certain of that. He was the headline piece received for Strider and while Vierling may surprise his upside is capped and the contract doesn't allow for a lot of profit.

Veto as well Brown would garner FAR more on open market than given here.

Veto for me as well.

ATL already established that Brown + another quality pitching prospect can get Strider. Nothing has happened to change that.

Veto functions as a safe rather then sorry. This is a dynasty league and teams only pay 1 year at a time. Even if you were fully commited to this for years. Life can always hit anyone like a bus and have to leave. 12 of the 30 GMs here are 1st or 2nd year players. Only 5 have been on the same team since this league started 9 years ago.

I can understand the concern of the potetional of a couple GMs bulling the rest of the league with Veto power. However, that is not happening here and if it was. We would find a way to address it.

Schmidt was in 2020 what Brown is today.

Agree with Ace that Brown hype = substantially more value.

League is littered with Schmidt, Mize, Skubal, etc… broke down hype trains.

ATL got lucky (as have I) benefited from the wisdom of the veto pen.

I will stick to my original approve after some further consideration.

Schmidt will likely be the 5th starter and Vierling has a new home in Detroit.

i agree there could be better return for brown, but I'm not sure this reaches veto for me. It's not great but I'll give it a soft approve.
