Hyun-il Choi, p LAD

I wanted Peterson because I just traded for Brosseau and both play 3B for Milwaukee.� Most of the time, one of these 2 are starting at 3rd.� I'm not counting on Bryant staying healthy, so needed some depth at 3rd.

I was happy to pick up free agent Choi, who is having a strong minor league career:��174 IP, 29 BB, 181 K, 3.25 ERA, 1.00 WHIP.� Hate to give him up, but focusing on this year.

Phils confirm. We move one of our last offensive assets not in our long-term plans for a couple more spects with upside. Will post some roster moves in another thread to update. Thanks to alan for the talks and best of luck to the Pirates going forward!
