the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.

The Philadelphia Phillies and San Francisco Giants have reached a trade agreement.
Philly receives: P Braxton Garrett (pc) P Brayan Bello (pc) 2B Scooter Gennett (1M, 2021) Giants receive: SS Gabriel Arias (pc) P Joey Cantillo (pc) RP Pierce Johnson (pc) The Phillies make our first move since taking the reigns in BTL, and are happy to add a spect like Braxton Garrett. We take on a little bit of salary in Gennett this year and next, and trade away some pieces we did like in our plan to San Francisco in order to help feed their Padre appetite. Overall we feel like this is an even trade that will make us better int he long run, as this year we are basically biding our time to get out from under all the previous administration's cap payouts. Thanks to JMAC for the smooth talks and best of luck this year. SF to confirm.
