gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.
Saints - Bucs trade

Saints trade:
WR Michael Thomas 8m, 4m, 4m Bucs trade: 2023 TB 1st thru 5th Rd picks … well at least something good came out of the veto debacle today. I like Mike but he doesn’t seem happy in NO and who is to say he doesn’t struggle without Brees? It’s been nearly two years since he played. I have a lot of Mike stock on other teams so I don’t mind diversifying here. It has sucked going thru the 2022 draft with no picks to play with. 4sFull to confirm

Veto....

Some men just want to watch the world burn

I don't think we should set the precedent that you need to trade your entire draft class to get a 29 year old WR who hasn't played in 2 years. If you want to trade your 1st and 2nd go ahead but your entire draft class is just goofy and unnecessary to prove a point to JB
Confirm. TB Bucs have two other Saints WRs. TEs, some average young WRs, a sweet Defense, and great cap situation. Adding the 2019 poy has nothing to do with JB. I like JB. This is about a great WR on a great contract.

I'm not trying to piss on everyone's corn Flakes here but let's reel it in a bit. It's been a good league to date and I don't want one veto of trade lead to a bunch of silliness and the league getting all screwed up.

Approve
Don’t see anything fishy here. I think 4s feels like she getting a stud who wouldn’t be available if he played last year and adding Thomas pushes the value of those picks downward a bit.
Approve. Seems silly to pay 300 cents on the dollar out of spite or to prove a point, but we are in peak silly season. Feels like this trade is closer to the Ravens/Bengals than it is fair market value, but again not vetoable.
May need to have the Bills winnings held in escrow to cover the TB entry fee next year if 4S goes MIA…

Veto

We established that a 3rd and 5th is worth a 10 spot trade up in the 2nd round (see Ten-Oak deal) So we’re saying Thomas isn’t conceivably worth a late 1st + an early/mid 2nd?
