Tampa in rebuild mode trades Franmil Reyes and eats�$4M in 2022 salary.

Giants send�prospect Jasson Dominguez and his 2nd round pick (MIA) to Tampa.

JMAC has been steady with his offer for weeks. I declined, reconsidered, and then was approached and even�shopped Franmil around to several teams. Had negotiations and made some�offers.�

Though the shine has come off�Dominguez status, he is still a Top 100 prospect and could be a huge bargain �if he lives up to his potential.�

The 2nd round pick gives me a 5th pick in the Top 60 in next years draft, and bit of downside protection.

Franmil has a desirable contract and a perfect age but we are a few years from competing and felt Dominguez would be there when it counted.

Giants confirm. Reyes looks miserable thus far but love my former Padre and want a bat to possibly contribute now as opposed to waiting g yrs on Dominguez. Here us to hoping Franmil finds it again and helps my offense moving forward
