Pretty sure GIG and baseball leagues will be following suit shortly.

So all active leagues here will be at new site?
avatar
https://dynastysportshub.proboards.com We're moving leagues to a new site folks. Several users report not being able to access this site anymore. New board will have 3 admins instead of one absent admin so we should be able to keep things better updated.

1.3 pick in gig is on the block if anyone is interested
avatar
gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
avatar
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.

gig untimed start now?

Way to go QFL. Another great draft in the books
LAD-SEA trade
#1
The Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Dodgers have reached a trade agreement.

Seattle sends:
C Francisco Alvarez (pc-na)
SP Jackson Jobe (pc-na)
C Tyler Stephenson (pc-24)
SP Yoendrys Gomez (pc-na)
SS Nick Loftin (pc-na)
1B/OF Mason Martin (pc-na)
SP Johan Oviedo (pc-24)
2023 1st round pick

LA sends:
1B Jose Abreu (10.4M in 2022)
C Francisco Meija (pc-22)
SP Jack Flaherty (10.2M through 2024)
2B Cesar Hernandez (1.9M in 2022)

Well, it's been a bit since we did a true blockbuster so why not. We trade a huge haul of spects and and a young catcher we like in Stephenson to an instant C platoon mate in Meija, the return of Abreu and Hernandez to our lineup (which gives us another masher and fills our biggest hole at 2B), and another strong front-end rotation arm in Flaherty. With this and a little more work to do in FA and other deals, we hope to be in the running for the title this year. Thanks to Alex for the fun talks as always and :LAD to confirm. Best of luck to the Dodgers in their rebuild.

Dodgers confirm.  Giving up more solid pieces to bring more young talent to the team.  Dodgers feel we brought over the #1 overall catching prospect in the game in Alvarez (minus Rutschman of course!).  Jobe adds a top 100 pitching prospect.  Really high on Stephenson and his hit profile, projects to sneak in ABs at 1B, DH and maybe OF per reports and gives the Dodgers a catcher now.  Gomez adds another arm who is ranked in the top 10 in the Yankees system.  Loftin is an under the radar grab for me, overall tools - Royals scouts compare him to Whit.  Martin and Oviedo gives the team organizational boom or bust type profiles.  Adding a first rounder as well speaks for itself. Should also add that the Dodgers freed up over 20m in cap space that gives the team flexibility to do some certain things in the FA market or potentially assist in future trades.

Thank you to Seattle for the great talks.  Took us a few days to hash this one out.  We achieved our objectives trying to make both our teams better.
