Nats trade:

OF Julio Rodriguez PC N/a
1B/OF Pavin Smith PC 2024

Two of the top 5 prospects in baseball get swapped. I think both will be superstars, have a personal connection to Julio and think he becomes a star by 2023. Dude can mash. Pavin is a solid cheap starting 1b with CF experience that can hold the fort and hopefully continue to develop into a good starter.

Nats agree. I actually prefer Julio to Witt, but the difference isn’t great as they both have superstar potential. Acquiring another top prospect asset in Rocchio for Smith is an upside move as we look to the future.
