The Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Dodgers have reached a trade agreement. 

Seattle trades: 
1B Jose Abreu (10.4M, 2022)
C Austin Nola (1.3M, 2021)
RP Adam Kolarek (1M, 2021)
2B Cesar Hernandez (2.5M, 2021; 1.9M, 2022)+2.5M to cover 2021 salary. 

Dodgers trade:
SP Julio Urias (5M, 2023)
SP Luke Weaver (1.5M, 2023)
3B Rece Hinds (P-n/a)
OF Steele Walker (P-n/a)


We had talks going with multiple owners but ultimately couldn't say no to an 11th hour deal for Urias. My main objectives in trading Abreu are freeing up cap and getting a young arm to anchor my rotation. This trade does that. Weaver we hope bounces back, and Hinds is a nice piece for our farm. Thanks to everyone for the talks, especially Alex and the Dodgers. LA to confirm.

LA Dodgers confirm.

In taking over the Dodgers I liked the depth they had at SP and knew going in I would need to trade an arm to get an impact bat to compliment Bregman and JRam.  In addition this trade filled 3 other spots on the Dodgers:  starting 2B Hernandez, projected starter C Au. Nola (Grandal OTB) and a pen arm in Kolarek.
