Pretty sure GIG and baseball leagues will be following suit shortly.
avatar
So all active leagues here will be at new site?
avatar
https://dynastysportshub.proboards.com We're moving leagues to a new site folks. Several users report not being able to access this site anymore. New board will have 3 admins instead of one absent admin so we should be able to keep things better updated.

1.3 pick in gig is on the block if anyone is interested
avatar
gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
avatar
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.

gig untimed start now?

Way to go QFL. Another great draft in the books
Quality Starts/Quality Appearances
#1
Simple question; should we revert back to Quality Starts for 2021 or would it be better to keep the Quality Appearance category (any outing of 5 innings or more with an ERA of 4.5 or less)?

We could address changing back to QS periodically, whereas if we make the decision to do so for 2021 i'd say that should apply for the foreseeable future pending unforeseen circumstances.

I'd say keep QA for 2021 and reassess before next season. I would expect teams will be very careful with innings for starters after the drastically shortened 2020 season.

With the opener becoming more and more common, the QA give the actual starter who comes in as a reliever an opportunity to get a counting stat beside k's. With a QS he would not qualify even if he goes 8 shutout innings because he didn't  start. QA is a good compromised even if its devalued with only 5ip.
