Making a move to compete this year, banking on Bryant returning to last year's form (maybe in a new city?). Trading Meyer hurts a little since he hasn't even been on my squad for a week, but I like some talent still out there so glad to get a few extra picks.

Cubs confirm. Looking at a bit of an overdue retooling of our farm system, the Cubs grab a pitcher we really liked in Meyer (I'm a bit biased as a MN guy myself!) and a young, former top prospect in Wright who we feel has his best years ahead of him, along with some further off prospects we see blossoming in the coming years. Bryant is an unknown at this point given his status with the Cubs and recent struggles. Hope for the best for him but it was time to move him while he still held some value.
