officially saying goodbye

https://dynastysportshub.proboards.com We're moving leagues to a new site folks. Several users report not being able to access this site anymore. New board will have 3 admins instead of one absent admin so we should be able to keep things better updated.
gotcha... makes sense. I just have draft brain right now and I'm a degenerate lol.
the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.
Contract rules for shortened season
|
Extensions
2020 values halved (minimums still apply). 2018, 2019 and 2020 ranks used. Contracts Deals will progress as normal. Teams will be given the option of adding 1 year to any veteran contract at halfway between 2020 salary and the extension value (or at the 2020 salary if this is greater). It must be for at least the positional minimum and doesn't apply to deals signed after FA re-opens. Example: $10m salary, $20m extension value = Option of adding year at $15m For players in last year of team control this must be done by August 3rd. Others can be done at the end of the season (or by August 3rd if you don't want the 2020 rank to count). Players under prospect contracts who have passed rookie limits by the end of the 2020 season will be given a one-off arbitration year at $4m ($2m for RP) which won't appear on the books until after the final year at 600k (unless an extension is performed). Teams can choose to override the arbitration salary when giving out any extension; otherwise it will remain non-guaranteed until opening day of the relevant season at which point the standard release penalties will be halved (becoming fully guaranteed after the free agency deadline which occurs shortly before our playoffs). Releasing Players Free agents signed this year before the shutdown can be cut at the end of the season with the penalty for the 2020 salary reduced to 50% for both releases and buyouts. Cap savings can only be used to fund buyouts for this class of player. Covid If a player opts out of the season then teams will receive a 600k cap credit. At the end of the year his contract may be tolled. For players who miss 6 weeks or more for covid related reasons then teams will also have the option of tolling the contract. If a player misses 3 weeks or more then the extra year shall be one quarter the way between the extension cost and his 2020 salary (or at the 2020 salary if this is greater).
