The first transaction I did when I took over this squad was to extend Sale, so it pains me to let him go. But he's been painful to watch go through these injuries and after this last one I decided it's time. Also tough to move Grissom, a top 25 prospect�who just homered in his debut, and several players I drafted, but I need win now pieces. Also glad to clear up to some cap space for this year and next. Mets accept. Who knows what will happen with sale after the injury. But this trade gave us an opportunity to add a lot of quality milb depth.
