2022 New Owner Draft Order, Rules, Example

The new owner draft will (hopefully) begin Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 8 am EST. The draft will take place in this thread. The order is posted below. We will run the Majors and Minors portions congruently. 

Draft order was randomized using random.org/lists. I will use a web randomizer and run it three times (In the interest of full disclosure, this ended up being four times as I accidentally double-clicked the button and it registered a version I was not able to screen cap. This was on the third, hence why the list says 4 times). The final time will be the draft order for the Major League draft, and the order will reverse for the Minor League draft. They will snake in each round from then on. These picks can not be traded. 

Contracts are updated on the respective tabs of the spreadsheet. Contract values in blue mean you have the option to extend to the contract to the third, fourth or fifth year when you draft them, since they were free agents at the end of last year. Please make sure you get paid up before that. If anyone of the new owners is unpaid, we will be delaying the start until that happens. You can pay through the Fantrax treasurer. Let me know if you have any questions about that. (UPDATE: So far three are paid. Waiting for other three then we can begin).
