Payouts

We will play for 50% of the pot and everyone will have $25 rolled over toward the 2021 entry fee.

1st: $125
2nd: $85
3rd: $60
4th: $45
5th: $35
6th: $25
7th: $15
8th: $10

No September Trophy this season.

The season will be considered completed if 90% of MLB teams play 54 games or more.

The season will be considered void if 90% of MLB teams don't play 40 games or more.

If MLB completes between 40 and 53 games then above payouts will be adjusted so that 30% of the pot is paid out (1st place would be $75).

Important Dates

7/16/20 - Free Agency Re-opens
7/23/20 - Opening Day
8/4/20 - 10% surcharge for extensions and 2020 release penalty goes from 75% to 90%
8/13/20 - Extension Deadline
9/3/20 - Trade Deadline
9/10/20 - Free Agency Deadline

Temporary Rule Changes

Teams limited to 15 total signings after opening day.

IL increased to 6 spots.

5 games in current season (rather than 10) required for positional eligibility.

Pitching limits will be 225 IP minimum and 450 IP maximum.

Trading

Will officially re-open July 20th (teams can negotiate before this if they wish).

Newly signed/extended players can be traded after 30 days except for free agents with contracts averaging over $1m.

2020 Draft

Positions will be based on an average of 2019 and 2020 standings. If season is void then 2019 standings will be used. Under either scenario there will be an unweighted lottery for the top 3 picks that will contain the bottom 3 teams only.
