Andres Gimenez, 2B (P-24)
TJ Friedl, OF ($4-$5-$6)
4th round pick in FYPD

NYY is trading:

Bo Bichette, SS (TOR) (A2)

ATL makes this trade working from a surplus of 2B and a need at SS. I think Bichette is much more than what he's showing out right now, and I thought Friedl would be an asset but I'm overloaded with OF and can spare him, as well. The 4th rounder is for taking on some extra salary to make this deal work.

Yankees agree to this trade.  The organization has been trying to fill a huge void at 2b so far this season.  Colt. Keith and Jared Triolo have disappointed.  Bo Bichette was a spare part and blocked by Trea Turner.  He also refused to get on board with our team policy on long hair.  He refuses to cut it and has been fined multiple times for this infraction.  Friedl and draft pick compensation dealt with getting Bichette under the Braves cap.
