Dodgers are Moving both Justin Verlander and Craig Kimbrel along with their full 2024 Salaries

for 

Red Sox prospects: Spencer Jones and Addison Barger

Dodgers: I like this deal because it clears some 2025 cap for me.  I move to older-older players in order to gain the future huge left-handed bat of Spencer Jones and the flyer of Addison Barger.

Confirm, Boston is continuing to build the "All-Geriatric Team". But seriously, Verlander had better numbers when he went back to Houston last year, and Kimbrel had solid numbers last year with good K%. Always a risk that the decline could hit big for either(both) this year, but not having any cap hits this year gives us flexibility. Thanks Howie!
