The Seattle Mariners and San Diego Padres have reached a trade agreement. 

Seattle sends:
P Dylan Cease (6M, 2025)

San Diego sends: 
P Logan Gilbert (pc24)
OF Ramon Laureano (4M, 2024)

While it's hard to move on from an ace we brought up through the minors, we are Seattle through and through, and jump at the chance to add a pitcher who while maybe a tick under cease's top marks (like Ks), is slightly younger and still on a PC deal. Laureano is basically a throw in to help make salaries more even and help JMAC free up a roster spot in the deal. Thanks to JMAC for the talks and Pads to confirm.
