The Seattle Mariners and Oakland A's have reached a trade agreement. 

Seattle sends: 
2B Jose Altuve (5.6M, 2024)

Oakland sends:
C Harry Ford (pcna)
P JR Ritchie (pcna)
3B Austin Shenton (pcna)
2025 1st round pick

We had been shopping Altuve since we took over the team, so we are happy with a return that includes a nice top spect in Ford (also a Mariners homer here), a nice arm spect in Ritchie, Shenton whose bat we are hoping is real and forces him up sooner than later, and a first rounder that should net another near top 100 spect if not within. We also felt we could move on Altuve with having Julien ready to go.
