The Seattle Mariners and Boston Red Sox have reached a trade agreement. 

Seattle sends: 
5th round pick

Boston sends:
RP Mark Leiter (500K, 2024)

Red Sox confirm.

Leiter was a stellar pick up by us last season gobbling up a lot of SVHs. We do this move to acquire some modest draft capital for this years class and can use Leiter's roster spot for a prospect pick up we currently have in the queue.
