Prospect swap. To be blunt, I don’t believe in Mayer and selling before the season starts and his value drops. In return, get the most touted P prospect prior to TJS. Who the heck knows how this turns out but I save a little salary as well.

Yeah. Easy prospect swap here. I wanted to add a SS prospect and like Mayer. Painter was a guy i targeted a few years ago and got him in several leagues. Just taking away some risk that he doesn't bounce back from TJ as well as he was before


And I add a cheap depth piece to protect my SS depth now. Lost a few SS eligible players with the enforcement of the games played rule. And easy to move on from him if need be.
