the thought was to wait until after the bulk of memorial day weekend so as to not stall out for a couple days, but I suppose there is no harm in it.

Reginald Preciado- SS Frank Mozzicato -P Ryne Nelson -P CHC send Anthony Rendon -3B Jake Odorizzi -P 4th round pick (CHC) Cubs pay for rendon and odorizzi for 2022 White Sox continue prospect unloading. Rendon isn’t helpful this year but we can try again next year with him. Odorizzi should give some good innings this year. They don’t really help that much this year so cubs add a late round pick since they have extra, and take the salaries to make the deal work. The rare cross town deal. We like Odorizzi but we are stocked with pitching. Wasn't really in our long term plans Rendon... what a bust and can use his cap next season. Lotto ticket for CWS 4th pick... we got another Key part for the Cubs is Perdomo. A a kid I saw locally. Confident he will return from his injury. Mozzicato and Nelson are struggling prospect pitchers. Worth a flyer to rid ourselves of Rendon. Pleasure doing business with White Sox |
