Cubs / KC trade - alanv25 - 07-17-2022 KC sends: Sean Manaea 8.0 10.3 8.3 8.3 6.3 Austin Slater 3.0 2.0 Kyle Nelson, rp Arz 500k 500k 500k 500k 500k 500k Cubs send: Trey Mancini 8.1 8.1 I needed someone more stable at 1B than Jared Walsh, who sometimes does not start.  I have some depth at SP and wanted to pick up a little bit of cap space, so since Manaea makes about the same as Mancini this year, I chose to move him.  Slater is having a good year, but I'm also deep in OF.  Including him and Nelson in the deal allows me to pick up 3.4 in cap space, which I sorely needed.
