DET/LAD Trade - MasterShonuff - 05-02-2022 Dodgers receive: IF Jonathan Aranda pc-na Tigers receive: P Ryan Helsley 1.4, 1.3, 1.3 Dodgers decided to trade bullpen capital to acquire an everyday player in Aranda who is highly rated spect in the Rays org. and has an above .300 avg in the minors and Mexican League during the Covid-era.  Dodgers like the fact that Aranda is on the Rays 40-man roster and seem to be grooming him to play 1B, 2B and 3B. RE: DET/LAD Trade - SoonerorLitigator - 05-02-2022 Tigers are trying to use this as a transition year and move from rebuilding to competing. Our pitching staff lags the hitters in development. I have a very deep farm(especially hitters) and so I turn it into a high leverage bullpen arm. Helsley won't keep up what he has done this first month, but he should get plenty of opportunities as the year progresses.
