Rookie Draft - tomviolence - 07-22-2021 Rookie Draft (No rookie draft in 2021-22) The Draft will begin at a date TBD and will last 3 Rounds.  The draft will not snake.  Draft Order based on following factors: 1. Record 2. Points Scored 3. Stanley Cup winner picks last. The runner-up picks second to last. Draft Picks are tradeable. Draft will likely begin untimed and move to a timed schedule if needed. If a team misses their pick time, then they will be skipped. The team can make up the pick anytime, but the draft will continue. Just like real life.  *In order to protect franchises with owners who are unresponsive, players will be assigned to teams if their owner does not make up a pick by the end of the following round* Rookie Wage Scale All drafted players in rounds 1-2 are immediately assigned a 3-year contract with annual salary based on their slot they were drafted in in our league. Players drafted in round 3 will assume a 2-year deal. - These are slotted salaries not based on a player's real life draft position. Salary table Draft Position - Salary 1 thru 5 - 3.0M 6 thru 10 - 2.5M 11 thru 20 - 2.0M 21 thru 24 - 1.5M 25 thru 30 - 1.0M 31 thru 40 - 900k 41 thru 48 - 800k 49+ - 700k
