Washington sends
Jeimer Candelario 1B/3B (PC-2021)
Boston sends
Chris Taylor, 2B/OF - $400K (2021)
Will Benson, OF - PC (minors)
This is basically an even player swap other than Taylor is 2 years older.�Benson was the add to make up for the age difference.
In 2020, Both players scored 30 R, Taylor had 1 more HR and 3 more RBIs and both had OPS around .850.
2021 Projections have them just as equal.
Boston was looking for help at the CI spot and I like Taylor's ability to play 4 positions and the possibility of his increased playing time this season.

Boston confirms, Washington basically covered my reasoning. Just didn't seem like a good idea to have Travis Shaw as my primary option to back up 1B/3B. But like the potential for a further breakout from Jeimer, so willing to add the extra piece.
