Braves / Red Sox Trade - MasterShonuff - 04-26-2024 Boston sends: 2B/OF Brendan Donovan 5m PAID 2024;  2m 2025 & 2026 Atlanta sends: RP Justin Slaten pc-na 2025 2nd Round Draft Pick Donovan was Westburg insurance for me.  Pretty confident I can run with Westburg ROS and still have depth at 2B with Davis Schneider.  Ultimately felt Donovan's roster spot was better served finding a resource that can contribute more consistently for me.  Our BP has some holes and we are very happy to solidify 1 spot in the pen with an upcoming arm in Slaten.  Hopefully this is just not a good month for him. Thanks again Pete!  We need to square away the bobblehead trade next! RE: Braves / Red Sox Trade - thepetis - 04-26-2024 Braves confirm..... had no back up 2B (except my starting SS), so he can provide depth there and an extra bat to cycle through the OF and UT spots.
