Spurs/Hornets/Pacers - TMurphy3 - 02-17-2024

Spurs get:
Caleb Martin (2.5m/2.5m)
Pacers play 0.4m this year
1st (CLE)

Pacers get:
Bradley Beal (16.2m/2027)
*Spurs pay 13.7m this year and 11.2m next

Hornets get:
2nd (DAL)
2nd (UTH)

Pacers confirm.  Been looking for an upgrade at SG/SF and hoping Beal can put together a few healthy weeks for our playoffs.  Don’t love the back end of his deal, but those are future problems.  Hornets/Spurs to confirm.

RE: Spurs/Hornets/Pacers - Queen James - 02-17-2024

Hornets agree. Flipping a late 1st into two early 2nds.

RE: Spurs/Hornets/Pacers - Andrewmott - 02-17-2024

Spurs confirm. Getting hard to trust Beal and that he’d be able to play like this the next three years or so. So get his cap off the books and try to help my pick this year. Thanks to the Hornets and Pacers!

Well done fellas. A rare three teamer and even rarer that one team didn't get bent over.

Spurs: Been regretting that Beal extension for a while. Clearly they are now on a 3 year plan. Plus how can they resist reuniting the Martin twins and picking up a late 1st to blow?

Hornets: One of the most acute 2nd round drafters in the league. So it makes sense that they would flip pick 1.29 for 2.5 and 2.8 (currently anyway)

Pacers: Getting a guy with Beal's ceiling is an easy call for a late 1st and Caleb Martin. There is obviously some injury risk and some ugly salary in Yrs 3-4. But let's face it, Murph will probably find someone to gladly take Beal off his hands in the next 18 months. When Indiana wins another title you guys can only blame yourselves. Indiana is currently rostering a whopping $163M worth of salaries that you all have kindly paid down for him.
