* IR Spots do not count against 40 man roster, but DO count against salary cap. Players are only eligible during their IR stay, and can only be placed on the IR once placed by their real-life teams. Once activated in real life, they need to be activated in our league. If not done within a reasonable amount of time, roster will be illegal and stats will not accumulate. Suspended players are NOT eligible for IR.

Position Eligibility
Players need 20 MLB games at a position to gain eligibility. Minor league positions DO NOT count toward eligibility. Rookies/prospects will assume their primary positions until they gain MLB eligibility elsewhere. In cases where Fantrax has assigned an incorrect position, contact the commissioner and these will be handled on a case-by-case basis in consultation with Fantrax premium support.

Salary cap
Salary Cap is $150 million. For a 40 man roster, it has average salary of 3.75m. Teams CAN be over the salary cap in future seasons, but by no more than 10% of the cap, or $15 million. Because we don't keep all players, this allows a team to have some room but remain manageable.

Schedule
Each team will play 3 head-to-head matchups each week.

All-Star break will be merged with the week after to create a 2 week period. All other matchups are 1 week in length beginning on Monday and ending Sunday evening.

Regular season will run from Week 1 through Week 20.
Playoffs start week 21 and run through week 24. There will be no matchups the final week of the season (Week 25).

Rules Changes
Any owner can propose a rule change. If proposed, it will be discussed by the league. If brought to a vote, the new rules requires a 3-1 approve ratio (75 percent) to pass, and will go into affect the following season.
