Nats/BoSox swap - threetwocount - 07-30-2023 Nats moving Gerritt Cole (paid) to the Red Sox for P Tink Hence and the LAD first rounder.  I've done a miserable job of putting together a pitching staff and hoping to slowly rectify RE: Nats/BoSox swap - MasterShonuff - 07-31-2023 Red Sox confirm. Absolutely love Hence. He was part of my first draft class in NP so it's a little bittersweet that I won't get to have him on my team when he plays for the Cardinals next year most likely. Adding in my best pick acquired is a no brainer for the Nats. Judging from the past few draft classes a top 10 pick is automatic top 100 prospect. All in all, Red Sox load up for the playoff run. In addition, will easily have the cap to resign him in the offseason when some 2023 salaries lower/drop off the books in 2024. Best of luck to the Nats. Maybe I can reacquire Hence in the future!
